Summer Clubhouse “On Tour”: A Camp Program for Hewitt girls entering Grades 1 through 4.
Enjoy your first week of summer with Hewitt friends! This special Hewitt-only camp program is designed to combine the best of Hewitt Clubhouse with the best of Summer Clubhouse. We are teaming up with Hewitt Clubhouse instructors, vendors, and classic New York kid-friendly locales for daily adventures chosen to spark your interest!
$750/week; 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; June 11-15, 2012 Registration for this week closes on May 15, 2012
Adventures include:
CityView Racquet Club! We’ll enjoy this luxury sports club located in Long island City. Our campers will get tennis lessons with CityView’s premiere Instructors. We’ll have our lunch al fresco and enjoy Manhattan skyline views from the club’s 2,500 square-foot outdoor deck.
Victorian Gardens! We love this amusement park which appears like magic in Wollman Rink each summer. Our campers will have an all access pass to ride the rides again and again. Fan favorites include the Kite Flyer, the Samba Balloon, the Red Baron and the Hydro Racer.
Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls! Our “mini-rock camp” day will include a Make Your Own Instrument workshop, a hands-on songwriting workshop (using rock instruments), a lunchtime performance and Q&A by a professional female musician, and a ”band art” activity. Campers will take home hand-made instruments, band poster,buttons, and the experience of having written and played song collectively.
City Ice Pavilion! Ice skating in June will be quite refreshing. We will visit our favorite ice skating rink for an afternoon of free skating fun. The music will be playing and and temperature will feel just right. Skate rental is included.
Field Day with Kids Action Sports! Our good friends at Kids Action Sports know every game under the sun. We are excited about the afternoon they have planned for us in Central Park. Their expert coaches will lead us through a series of fun group games which are sure to keep us moving & laughing while we relish the thrill of teamwork.
Adventures On Stage! Be a Broadway star for a day. Four Corners Creative motto is “Dance, Sing, Act, Grow” and that’s exactly what we’ll do. Our day will be dedicated to the performing arts as our girls immerse themselves in the fun-damentals of dancing, singing and acting. As a special treat, a guest Broadway performer will meet with the group to answer questions and teach us a routine from her show.

Summer Clubhouse programs are staffed with top notch teachers, professional instructors, experienced camp counselors, a Health Director, and field trip security. CPR training is required for our staff.
Summer Clubhouse is held in the Hewitt McKelvey Building at 3 East 76th Street.
